One Person Killed in Portland Motorcycle Accident on North Marine Drive

Portland, Oregon (July 16, 2023) – One person died at the scene of a crash involving a motorcyclist on Saturday night in Portland, a report by the Portland Police Department said.

The crash occurred at about 11:37 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, in the area near North Marine Drive and North Bybee Lake Road.

According to police, a person on a motorcycle slammed into the side of an SUV under unclear circumstances.

The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two people riding in the SUV sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident.
