STILLWATER, Okla. (KOKH) — A 19-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Stillwater on Friday night.
According to the Stillwater Police, the incident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of West 6th Avenue, involving a car and a motorcycle.
Authorities said a car failed to yield from a private drive and collided with the motorcycle driven by Christopher Dylan Howerton, who was unable to react in time.
Howerton and a passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. Howerton, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Stillwater Medical Center.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
