Five People Injured in Multiple Motorcycle Accident in Craven County, North Carolina

Craven County, N.C. (June 29, 2023) – Five people have been hospitalized after three multiple motorcycles collided Thursday morning on a major Eastern Carolina highway.

The collision occurred at about 11 a.m. on US 17 between Bridgeton and Vanceboro.

Authorities say three bikes from the Latin American Motorcycle Association were involved in the crash. Five people sustained serious injuries in the crash. The patients were transported to EU Health Medical Center for treatment.

According to WITN, the Greenville Convention Center is hosting about 1200 motorcyclists through Sunday as part of the Center’s 17th Annual U.S. Rally.

The group is currently headed to New Bern.

No additional details regarding the crash were provided.
