Snohomish Man, 67, Dies in Fatal Motorcycle Accident.

SNOHOMISH—A 67-year-old Snohomish man died in a motorcycle accident on the off-ramp from SR-2 to SR-9 on Saturday evening, August 30, 2025, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Emergency responders from Snohomish County Fire District #4 arrived at the scene at 8:57 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls about the crash. Medics reported that they performed CPR on the victim for 15 minutes but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities stated the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on US-2 when he lost control and left the roadway, coming to rest in a grassy area. Witnesses reported not observing the motorcycle depart the road.

A U.S. Department of Transportation-approved helmet was worn during the incident, and authorities noted that neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected to have played a role in the crash.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will determine the official cause and manner of death, as well as the identity of the deceased.
