GROTON MAN DIES FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN HIGHWAY CRASH NEAR WEBSTER
GROTON, SD — A Groton man has died from injuries sustained in a crash on US Highway 12, five miles west of Webster, on Wednesday, October 29.
The accident involved a single vehicle, a 2017 Toyota RAV4, that left the roadway, entered the south ditch, and struck a power line pole. The driver was transported to an Aberdeen hospital with life-threatening injuries and passed away on Sunday, November 2.
Authorities have not released the driver’s name pending family notification. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, and all details remain preliminary. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
