DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. – A 64-year-old man died Saturday evening after his vehicle struck a fence on County Road S 510, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Kenneth J. Macken was driving south when his vehicle left the roadway at approximately 5:49 p.m. and collided with a fence before coming to a stop in a field. Authorities reported that Macken died at the scene; however, two passengers in the vehicle were not injured.
Preliminary reports indicate that all occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Next of kin have been notified, and the investigation is ongoing. All information is subject to change as new details emerge.
