CHICHESTER, NH — A motorcyclist died after crashing into a utility pole on Horse Corner Road Sunday night, according to police.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Emergency responders from local fire departments arrived shortly after the crash, providing medical aid before transporting the 30-year-old male rider to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist lost control and struck the pole. The road was closed for several hours while officials conducted their investigation.
The Chichester Police Department is urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward. Towing services were on site to remove the motorcycle and clear the roadway.
