Loved ones mourn the loss of a Connecticut motorcyclist killed in a Windham crash, stating, “Lives will never be the same.”

A fatal crash in Windham, Connecticut, claimed the life of 17-year-old Devan Nolet on Thursday, May 15, shortly before 6 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.

Authorities reported that a 2019 silver Ford Explorer was turning left into a parking lot for Apollo Pizza on Route 32 when it was struck by a southbound 2009 Suzuki GSX-R750 motorcycle. Nolet was ejected from the motorcycle, colliding with a utility pole. He sustained critical injuries and was transported to Windham Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The collision forced the Ford Explorer into a parked 2021 white Ram 1500, causing additional damage.

The investigation is ongoing, according to authorities. Witnesses who may have information related to the incident are encouraged to contact Trooper First Class DeCarli at 860-465-5400.
