ROACH, MO – A motorcycle crash early Sunday left a Roach man seriously injured after he swerved to avoid a deer, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Irontown Drive. The 29-year-old driver lost control of the motorcycle, traveled off the roadway, and subsequently overturned.
Authorities reported that the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a local hospital for treatment. No other vehicles were involved, and the road was briefly impacted during the emergency response. The investigation is ongoing.
