CLEVELAND, OH — A motorcycle crash on I-480 resulted in the death of a man on May 18, 2026, around 5:30 p.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the collision involved a single motorcycle in the eastbound lanes near the Broadway Avenue exit. Emergency responders pronounced the rider dead at the scene. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities closed two lanes for approximately three hours to facilitate the investigation and remove the vehicle involved. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no additional vehicles were involved.
